The project was birthed from nostalgia for the original Super Soaker and a desire to recapture childhood innocence. The personal hobby and passion of founder Gabriel Nyantakyi progressed into a recognition of the Super Soaker as a Afrofuturist technology and its inventor Dr. Lonnie G Johnson as a paragon of black nerd excellence. Gabriel has travelled extensively sharing waterarms and this message of peace and fun.
The project has grown to establish a STEM education program inspired by the technology invented by Dr. Johnson. The program also has a unique approach that encourages resourcefulness and problem solving.
